Singular Performers

The solarCircus performance troupe is composed of a large group of custom made sun-powered objects.  Many have been created from hacked solar toy kits.  All performers move, twitch, spin, or gyrate with solar energy only.  No batteries are utilized in the design of each performer, thus live action is possible only on sunny days.

During the summer of 2009, the artist worked with two interns to create one-of-a-kind solar sculptures; we decided to spray them all white to add unity to our lawn compositions.
